Jazz collective

In spring semester 2024 jazz collective trains once a week, working towards a 20-minute performance. The course will take place between January 11^th and June 20^th 2024.

Jazz collective aims to explore the world of dance with the cooperation and interaction of both teachers and dancers. The students also get to challenge themselves by creating their own material. The collective enables a much-needed opportunity to perform for adult students who already have previous experience and varied dance backgrounds.

Participating in the group requires intermediates 1-level experience in jazz dance, contemporary dance, show dance or ballet. In addition, the student must have at least one other class with Helsinki dance institute.

The course is taught by Wilma-Emilia Kuosa, except for classes 11.1.-14.3. which are taught by Lara Müller.
